One, two strikes you’re out
In this blog post, we will discuss Wagabonz’s two-strike policy for grooming appointments. This policy is designed to protect against no-shows and last-minute cancellations, which can be frustrating for both the groomers and other clients who could have taken that appointment slot.
No show and last minute cancellations hurt groomers’ income because they prevent the groomer from filling the time slot with another appointment. This means that the groomer loses out on potential income for that time period, which can add up over time. Additionally, groomers often have to turn away other clients in order to hold the original appointment slot, so when a client does not show up or cancels at the last minute, it can mean potential lost clients we had to turn away.
Under the two-strike policy, clients who fail to show up for their scheduled appointment or who cancel with less than 24 hours notice will receive a strike. After two strikes, the client will no longer be able to schedule appointments with Wagabonz for a period of 6-months. Never fear, after 6 months, any accrued strikes fall off and we start all over.
We understand that emergencies can happen, and we ask that clients communicate any cancellations as soon as possible to avoid receiving a strike. Our goal is to ensure a fair and efficient scheduling process for all of our clients and groomers. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
